Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 3–5 years in compressors or turbomachinery.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and turbomachinery fundamentals.
• Experience with CFD software (e.g., ANSYS CFX/Fluent, STAR-CCM+).
• Experience analyzing simulation and test data to support engineering decisions.
• Proficiency with Python/MATLAB and data analysis tools.
• Working knowledge of CAD systems for extracting dimensional data.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, testing, or prototype development.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple priorities in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize centrifugal compressors and flow-path components.
• Develop aerodynamic design methodologies and performance prediction capabilities.
• Investigate AI/ML and automated design workflows for optimization.
• Support compressor programs from concept through validation, including testing and reviews.
• Collaborate with test labs to instrument and evaluate prototype hardware.
• Drive improvements in performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
