NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a senior software engineer to drive development, performance, and scalability of a cloud-native Radio Access Network stack on CPU/GPU/DPU platforms. You will design and optimize a ground-breaking end-to-end baseband system for 5G/6G, balancing software innovations with hardware capabilities.

The role involves collaborating across teams, implementing new baseband functions in C/C++/Python/CUDA, and participating in lab trials and customer collaborations to unblock

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
• 8+ years of software development and systems engineering experience in telecom or related fields.
• Experience with PHY/MAC concepts for 5G/6G is preferred.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Python and CUDA for performance-critical code.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and testing environments for wireless systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of baseband system stacks for 5G/6G.
• Optimize CPU, GPU, and NIC subsystems for low latency and high throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Develop software and baseband functions on GPU platforms using C/C++/Python/CUDA.
• Assist in system integration, performance testing, and field trials with partners.
