Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in the United States seeks a senior software engineer to advance the Aerial CUDA Accelerated RAN platform, building a high-performance, software-defined, cloud-native 5G/6G RAN stack on NVIDIA compute platforms.

As a senior contributor, you will lead end-to-end development, optimize CPU/GPU/NIC subsystems, and collaborate across teams to resolve bottlenecks while supporting lab trials and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience in telecom or similar field.
• Proven experience in PHY/MAC or baseband software development in C/C++.
• Strong knowledge of LTE/5G MAC and PHY from systems and low-level perspectives.
• Experience with CUDA/GPU programming is a plus.
• MS or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, CS or Telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of end-to-end reference system stack for 5G/6G baseband.
• Optimize CPU, GPU and NIC subsystems for low latency and high throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove performance bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot in lab and integrate complex software modules.
• Develop baseband functions in C/C++/Python/CUDA on GPU platforms.
• Support system integration, performance testing and lab trials.
• Engage with customer field trials and partner engineering teams.
