Job summary

NVIDIA invites you to join the Aerial PHY team as a Summer 2027 intern in Santa Clara, CA. You will work on high-performance software for the 5G/6G physical layer, using GPUs and CUDA to accelerate signal processing and real-time data handling.

You will develop reference stacks, simulate advanced algorithms in Matlab/Python, and optimize PHY features in C/C++/CUDA on GPU platforms. Resume-ready projects and internships support your growth in wireless and AI-enabled telecom.

Qualifications

• Pursuing PhD or MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related.
• Strong background in classic and AI/ML based algorithms for wireless signal processing.
• Good balance between algorithm performance and implementation cost.
• Programming skills in Matlab/Python and C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end reference system stack for 5G/6G baseband.
• Build and simulate algorithms for 5G/6G PHY layer in Matlab/Python.
• Implement and optimize PHY features in C/C++/CUDA on GPU.
• Support integration, testing, and lab trials for end-to-end system.
