Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Application Architect to lead the team designing, developing, and implementing Adobe Experience Manager solutions that support digital transformation and business goals. You will ensure scalable AEM designs and coordinate with stakeholders across IT and Marketing to deliver high-impact projects.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in AEM, strong Java/J2EE skills, and expertise in enterprise integration, APIs, and OSGi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on AEM development and architecture.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AEM Sites, AEM Assets and AEM Forms.
• Experience leveraging agentic coding and AI-assisted software engineering practices within AEM development.
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture, including components, templates, workflows and OSGi.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable AEM solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement enterprise-grade AEM systems.
• Develop and maintain AEM design docs, architecture diagrams, data models, and integration specs.
• Lead design sessions and mentor junior developers on best practices.
