Job summary

Pact seeks a Senior Advisor to strengthen its responsible-mining portfolio through senior-level, multisector experience. The engagement focuses on strategic guidance, stakeholder engagement with USG and funders, and advancing Pact's market positioning in the critical minerals space.

The consultant will help design concept notes, refine proposals, and align activities with locally led development. This part-time engagement runs Sept 1–Dec 30, 2026, with an hourly-rate compensation model.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 12+ years of senior-level experience in mining, international development, or related sectors.
• Proven track record designing and overseeing large-scale field programs in mining-affected contexts.
• Strong written and oral communication, facilitation, and fundraising/ proposal development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on opportunities to grow Pact's responsible mining portfolio and strengthen engagement with funders and teaming partners.
• Contribute to or lead development of concept notes and project proposals related to responsible mining and critical minerals.
• Review Pact's marketing and positioning materials to provide concise, actionable recommendations for funders and partners.
• Advise on Pact's relationship-development and stakeholder engagement strategy with USG, bilaterals and multilaterals, industry leaders, and private sector partners.
• Provide market intelligence on priorities and approaches of funders in the critical minerals space.
