Job summary

Pact is seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to strengthen its responsible-mining portfolio, expand relationships with funders and teaming partners, and guide winning proposals in the critical minerals sector. This senior role requires deep sector knowledge and proven leadership across mining, government, and development finance institutions.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree and 12+ years of senior-level experience spanning the mining industry, government, international development, non-profit or social impact organizations and/or multistakeholder or coalition leadership roles.
  • Strong, active relationships across mining industry, government, DFIs, funders, and multistakeholder initiatives relevant to critical minerals and responsible mining.
  • Experience designing, structuring, implementing or overseeing large-scale, field-based programs in mining-affected communities or resource governance contexts.
  • Experience developing or contributing to competitive proposals, concept notes, statements of interest, partnership strategies, or other business-development materials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on opportunities to grow Pact's responsible mining portfolio and strengthen its positioning with funders and teaming partners.
  • Contribute to or lead development of concept notes and project proposals related to responsible mining and critical minerals, including design and win-theme recommendations.
  • Review Pact's marketing materials to provide concise, actionable recommendations and help develop materials communicating Pact’s capabilities.
  • Advise on Pact's relationship-development and stakeholder engagement strategy with industry leaders and private sector partners, ensuring compliance with ethics and anti-corruption requirements.
  • Provide market intelligence on priorities and approaches of the U.S. Government, DFIs, and other funders in the critical minerals sector.
