Job summary

PACT is a global nonprofit focused on responsible mining and community development. Pact seeks a Senior Advisor with 12+ years in mining, government, or international development to strengthen its portfolio and relationships with funders, industry partners, and multilateral institutions.

The advisor will guide proposal design, concept notes, and market intelligence, ensuring alignment with Pact's locally led development approach. This is a part-time, advisory engagement through December 2026.

Qualifications

Master's degree and 12+ years of senior-level experience in mining, government, or international development.
Strong relationships across mining, government, DFIs, bilateral and multilateral funders.
Experience designing, structuring, implementing or overseeing large-scale field programs in mining-affected communities.
Experience developing competitive proposals, concept notes, or partnership strategies.
Ability to translate strategy into practical activities across diverse contexts.
Fluency in English; French or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic advisory to grow Pact's responsible mining portfolio and strengthen engagement with funders and partners.
Contribute to or lead the development of concept notes, proposals, and statements of interest.
Review Pact's marketing materials and provide concise, actionable recommendations.
Advise on relationship-building strategy with industry leaders and funders, ensuring ethics and compliance.
Provide market intelligence on priorities and funding approaches for the sector.
