Job summary

AJM Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineering Leader in Southgate, MI to drive development, benchmarking, conversion and optimization of manufacturing processes for table top products.

The role focuses on improving performance, operational efficiency, automation, and manufacturing excellence across locations, with collaboration across operations, engineering, suppliers, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

Minimum eight years of direct hands-on hands-on experience with industrial machines/equipment implementing advanced manufacturing techniques.
Strong collaboration and communication across all levels of the organization.
Ability to lead cross-location manufacturing technology initiatives and drive OEE improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead development of advanced manufacturing strategies for new and existing table top products and conversion processes.
Develop scalable concepts focusing on safety, quality, throughput, ergonomics, and cost.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, optimize labor, and improve equipment utilization.
Lead benchmarking across locations and research emerging manufacturing technologies.
Provide coaching to junior engineers and collaborate with engineering groups on launches.
