Job summary

Apartment Life is seeking an Events and Ministry Coordinator (Offsite, Part-Time) to execute the service plan across two Senior Adult communities in Jonesboro and Riverdale, GA. You will work with a supervisor to develop monthly schedules and host two events per month at each community to promote engagement, wellness, and social connection.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services.
• Excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed. Basic computer skills.
• Basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements and required reports.
• Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to transportation.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and navigate stairs.
• Availability to commit weekly hours, mainly evenings and weekends.
• Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create programs that fit each community's needs.
• Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth.
• Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources.
• Share information about rental, food, and other assistance programs.
• Ensure all activities run smoothly.
• Communicate regularly with onsite staff.
• Meet weekly with your supervisor to review program and goals.
• Submit monthly reports on activities and impact.
