Job summary

Apartment Life in Johns Creek, GA is hiring an Events and Ministry Coordinator (Offsite, Part-Time). You will help execute the service plan, coordinate monthly schedules, and run resident events and workshops to engage adults and families.

The role expects 16 hours per week at $21 per hour, with events mainly in evenings and weekends. You will partner with the onsite staff, volunteers, and local partners to connect residents with resources and enriching activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services.
• Excellent listening/communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports.
• Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
• Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Weekly evening/weekend availability.
• Minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create programs that fit each community's needs.
• Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth.
• Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources.
• Share information about rental, food, and other assistance programs.
• Plan and host 2–3 events each month to promote social engagement, wellness, health, enrichment, and stability.
• Update monthly resources list for rent assistance, food assistance, and other needs.
• Meet with residents with specific needs and help connect them to local resources.
• Partner with community businesses to provide holistic activities.
• Communicate effectively with onsite staff and AL supervisor.
• Report activity and impact each month.
