Job summary

Apartment Life seeks an Events and Ministry Coordinator to execute the service plan for a 55+ senior resident community in Buford, GA. This offsite, part-time role activities plan and host 2-3 events monthly, update resident resources, and collaborate with local partners to promote engagement and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include coordinating with staff, reporting monthly impact, and ensuring events run smoothly within regular business hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services.
• Excellent listening/communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports.
• Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance with reliable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and navigate stairs.
• Available weekly, with evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create programs that fit each community's needs.
• Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth.
• Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources.
• Share information about rental, food, and other assistance programs.
• Oversee all activities to ensure they run smoothly.
• Communicate regularly with onsite staff and supervisor.
• Meet weekly with supervisor to review program and goals.
• Submit monthly reports on activities and impact.
