Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support the Director of Nursing and the Maternal Child & Respiratory Therapy teams at the Portland campus.
The role involves managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and follow‑ups, and ensuring smooth communication across departments to keep projects and priorities on track, Monday through Friday, with standard clinical hours.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Administrative Assistant to support the Director of Nursing and the Maternal Child and Respiratory Therapy teams. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to nursing and clinical leadership, helping coordinate daily operations and ensuring priorities remain on track. The work schedule offered is Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.
Key responsibilities include managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings and events, preparing agendas and follow-up actions, facilitating communication across departments, and supporting projects, purchasing activities, and operational priorities. This position is essential in keeping teams organized, connected, and focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, and adaptability. Success in this role requires the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and build effective relationships across the organization, enabling leaders to stay focused on supporting caregivers, patients, and families.
Contributes to the operational effectiveness of the Assistant Administrator/PPMC, and Director of Mission Integration/Providence Portland Medical Center by providing secretarial and administrative support. Also supports other managers as needed.
