Ameriprise Financial is hiring a Senior Administrative Assistant to support our Internal Communications department. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, preparing materials, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and handling ad hoc requests. The role involves partnering with the Department Coordinator for support coverage, technology updates, project logistics, and other duties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage calendars and prioritize meetings independently, coordinating with internal/external partners.
  2. Prepare expense reports, invoices, and other reports.
  3. Coordinate department programs such as onboarding, supply requisitions, and deadline tracking.
  4. Educate the department on technology updates, respond to ad hoc requests, and support projects.
  5. Provide new hire training and mentoring; back-up other administrative staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 Years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and administrative tools (Outlook, Ariba, XMS, Concur)
  • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and prioritize independently
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree

Compensation and Benefits
