Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking an experienced automotive electrical hardware engineer for the ADAS-focused design group.

You will support analog and digital circuit design, testing, analysis, and simulation, communicating technical concepts to junior engineers and leading test plan development. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to realize HW concepts for control systems, assist root-cause analysis of failures, and help prepare documentation and test specifications for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• 7+ years in automotive ECU hardware development or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital HW and EMC validation.
• Experience with CAN/LIN, ECUs, and automotive test flows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and derive HW solutions.
• Modify existing HW designs or create new automotive control hardware.
• Perform circuit analysis and simulation for analog/digital hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across vendors and customers.
• Create schematics and manage PCB layout using standard toolchains.
• Prepare test plans, validate prototypes, and support production release.
• Lead root-cause analysis for field issues and document findings.
