Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. seeks Sr. Engineer candidates with an MSc/PhD in engineering fields to develop advanced technologies in ADAS and Automated Driving. The role emphasizes image processing, AI, sensors, and algorithms for ADAS/AD development while collaborating with teams in the USA and Japan.

Qualifications

• M.Sc./Ph.D. degree in mechanical/electrical/computer science/robotics or related engineering field.
• Knowledge of ADS and image processing is required.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Astemo teams in Japan and US departments.
• Design algorithms, test scenarios, validation strategies; perform experiments and data analysis for ADAS/AD systems.
• Plan and execute project tasks with timelines.
• Conduct complex system analyses and troubleshoot issues.
• Publish technical papers and contribute to patents; present at conferences.
