Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Senior Engineer to independently develop an advanced automotive SoC software platform for AD/ADAS and Central Compute ECU.

The role involves implementing hypervisor technology, guest OS support (QNX, Adaptive AUTOSAR, Linux), and collaborating with hardware and product teams. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in automotive embedded software, with at least 4 years on AD/ADAS sensor development, and a deep understanding of SDV/AutOSAR and multi-threaded OS

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with 4+ years in AD/ADAS sensor development in automotive embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of SDV enablers, Zonal Network, high-performance central compute modules, automated driving, AI, ML, and OTA updates.
• Experience with image processing, video handling, and SoC platform software development.
• Ability to read schematics and IC datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Technology Development: Integrate and support AD/ADAS sensors with a focus on cameras, radar, lidar, and related image processing capabilities.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with hardware, product engineers and stakeholders to ensure performance, safety and regulatory standards.
• Risk Management: assess risks and develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
