Job summary

Stellantis Auburn, AL seeks an In-Field Life Quality Lead to elevate customer vehicle quality for Autonomous Driving Systems and components. You will craft strategies to meet ambitious quality objectives, and lead teams to timely solutions.

You will diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis with Control Tower and Engineering, and drive supplier-driven design changes to improve overall quality. Travel up to 10% within the USA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with strong problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with cross-functional exposure.
• Experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or Manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team to deliver product changes on time.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication from executive meetings to all levels.
• Self-motivated, directed and able to thrive in high intensity environments.
• Ability to travel within the USA 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build warranty improvement plans and elevate quality levels of customer vehicles.
• Demonstrate responsiveness to meet quality and production requirements.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and perform root cause analysis with Control Tower and Engineering.
• Lead recommendations for component or process changes to ensure vehicle quality.
• Organize reviews with top problematic component suppliers and Engineering/Quality teams.
• Support improvements to Serial Life Window and Change Management processes.
• Lead best practices using 3 Legged 5 Why analysis and Read Across.
• Issue field solutions for systemic quality issues with Aftersales and service updates.
• Lead survey analysis with corrective actions for defects and dislikes.
• Develop improvement plans for survey issues and feedback.
• Support HUB activities to capture logs on difficult problems.
• Utilize OTA vehicle data (Aptiv/ADA/Databricks) for analysis and solutions.
