Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an experienced USA FAE Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison between automotive customers and internal engineering teams. You will lead technical reviews, drive design wins, and support ADAS deployment from pre‑sales through production ramp‑up.

The role requires extensive ADAS knowledge, automotive software experience, and strong communication with both North American customers and China-based teams; travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in ADAS, autonomous driving systems, automotive software, system integration, testing, or customer-facing technical support roles
• Experience supporting automotive electronics, infotainment systems, ADAS, or autonomous driving technologies
• Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
• Strong understanding of automotive quality systems (ASPICE, FSV ISO 26262, ISO 21434) and cybersecurity
• Familiarity with automotive regulations and standards related to ADAS and vehicle software validation
• Deep understanding of ADAS technologies: cameras, radar, LiDAR, domain controllers, software architectures
• Proven ability to drive technical discussions with customers and internal teams
• Fluent English; Mandarin and English bilingual communication
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews and customer-facing discussions during the pre-sales phase
• Present solution architectures and support demonstrations, evaluations, and proof-of-concept activities
• Partner with business development to drive customer adoption and design wins
• Gather and clarify customer requirements and align technical specifications with internal teams
• Provide on-site and remote technical support during development, integration, validation, and ramp-up
