Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience architecting and building large distributed systems.
• Proven track record of leading senior and staff+ engineering teams.
• Staff+ technologist on complex, low-latency, revenue-critical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and initiatives.
• Experience fostering AI-first thinking within engineering teams to drive innovation.
• Expertise in advertising is a plus.
• AI literacy and curiosity in Gen AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a multi-year technical strategy, influencing architecture across multiple teams.
• Own scalability, stability, and performance of Roku’s ad serving mediation platforms.
• Shape product direction by understanding advertising business and monetization strategy.
• Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams to execute roadmaps.
• Hire, grow, and retain top talent and foster a healthy team environment.
• Improve developer productivity by modernizing tooling and reducing operational load.
