Job summary

Roku is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Platform Experiences in California to design, scope, and implement advanced advertising experiences that showcase platform capabilities and monetize opportunities. You will work with Product, Ad Ops, and Engineering to build custom solutions from concept through launch and optimization.

Ideal candidates bring deep AdTech knowledge, strong cross-functional communication, and hands-on experience building advertising products within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in AdTech or MarTech, in a Solutions/Integrations/Professional Services role.
• 1–3 years of experience with data visualization tools and building dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Hive, or similar databases.
• Experience trafficking digital video and other ad formats (VAST/VMAP).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom advertising experiences within Roku's ad tech stack.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design and implement new products.
• Create regression tests with QA Engineers and provide design feedback to Engineering.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and escalate when needed.
• Write clear documentation and detailed specifications for new features.
• Review workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Pioneer experimental features expanding Roku's value proposition.
