Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, compounding, distribution, and inventory management in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds within USP / guidelines, manage documentation, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Requires active Pharmacy Technician licensure or Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state.
• Minimum of two years pharmacy technician experience.
• Strong math, customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with medication management software and automated dispensing systems.

Responsibilities

• Identifies medications and items for reorder to maintain inventory.
• Manages users in the automated dispensing technology database and troubleshoots issues.
• Exhibits strong customer service in all contacts with patients, visitors and staff.
• May restock automated dispensing technology and restock medications to nursing and ancillary areas.
