Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Acute Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist with packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and medication record-keeping. You will support customers, manage licensing/compliance, and help train staff while ensuring safe, age-appropriate care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires licensed/certified pharmacy technicians or a pharmacy intern, strong math and computer skills, and a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Formación

• Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
• Strong math/calculation skills using basic tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsabilidades

• Identify medications and items for reorder to maintain inventory.
• Restock medications and manage dispensing technologies under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare non-sterile compounded medications following USP guidelines.
• Educate and train colleagues as needed; document tasks and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, compliant work environment and accurate temperature/documentation records.
