Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Senior Acute Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, distribution, and non-sterile compounding in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will work under the pharmacist, handle IV meds and chemotherapy, and may train other technicians. Requires at least two years of pharmacy experience and IV training. Two overnight shifts weekly with incentives available.

Qualifications

• This role requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification in the state of practice.
• Two years of pharmacy technician experience is required.
• AZ Wallet Card must be provided at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and record-keeping of meds.
• Serve as liaison between customers and pharmacist.
• Educate/train peers on tech processes.
• Prepare sterile IV meds and non-sterile compounds per policy.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control tasks.
