Banner Health seeks an experienced Acute Pharmacy Technician for the Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ.

You will perform medication packaging, distribution, and non-sterile compounding under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accurate records and inventory control. The role involves interfacing with patients, providers, and staff, maintaining USP-compliant practices, and supporting training initiatives.

Qualifications

Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification or Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
AZ Board Wallet Card at time of hire is required for Arizona.
Strong mathematical calculation skills with a calculator.

Responsibilities

Identify medications for reorder to maintain inventory.
Restock medications using automated dispensing technology after pharmacist check.
Compounding non-sterile medications and documenting processes per policy.
Maintain clean, safe working environment and perform quality control tasks.
Handle narcotics per all regulatory requirements and maintain proper documentation.
Assist with training of peers and volunteers as needed.
