Job summary
Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Arizona, seeks a Senior Acute Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, compounding, distribution and inventory management under pharmacist supervision. You will work closely with pharmacists in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment; two years of pharmacy tech experience and chemotherapy experience are required for senior status.

Qualifications
- Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification in the state.
- Minimum of two years pharmacy technician experience.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Identify medications and restock to maintain inventory.
- Manage users in automated dispensing technology and investigate discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
- Restock automated dispensing technology and prepare IV meds per policy.
- Compounds non-sterile medications and documents processes per USP guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and accurate documentation.
