Job summary

Pacific Life seeks an AVP Actuary for PRT Pricing Operations and Post Sale Management in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role sits on a 15-person Institutional team, collaborating with Pricing, SE&I, Legal, Finance, Valuation, and Technology to evolve the PRT pricing model.

You will drive pre-sale pricing, post-sale pricing, contracting, and governance, while guiding strategic pricing initiatives and operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required.
• Minimum 10 years of actuarial experience.
• Minimum 5 years of direct Pension Risk Transfer Pricing experience.
• Strong understanding of PRT pricing methodologies.
• Experience evaluating pricing assumptions with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sale Pricing Support and RFP review.
• Lead post-sale pricing and management of PRT transactions.
• Own end-to-end post-sale management with cross-functional teams.
• Develop pricing methodologies and analytical frameworks.
• Mentor pricing team members and lead strategic initiatives.
