Pacific Life seeks a Director - PRT Pricing to lead pricing across the Pension Risk Transfer lifecycle. Based in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Charlotte, NC, you will oversee deal strategy, end-to-end pricing, and governance in a fast-paced environment.

You will build pricing frameworks, manage a team of actuaries and pricing analysts, and partner with Sales, Investments, and Risk to drive value while championing automation and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• FSA or EA with 10+ years of actuarial experience.
• Pension Risk Transfer transaction pricing experience (deferred, cash balance, lump sum, buy-in).
• Experience leading mortality experience analysis with PRT or related lines and translating data into exec-ready insights.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills; able to drive outcomes in ambiguity.
• Proficiency in VBA and related programming languages.
• Experience with Prophet, ALM, Alteryx and R.

Responsabilités

• Lead PRT Pricing deal strategy across retiree, deferred and buy-in structures.
• Own end-to-end pricing within the matrix model, providing execution and senior review.
• Develop and apply pricing frameworks (Statutory and Economic) and mortality/experience analysis.
• Manage stakeholders across Sales, Capital, Reinsurance, Investments, Risk.
• Governance and documentation to support regulatory requirements.
• Champion automation and AI-enabled improvements.
