Job summary

Fetch Pet Insurance is seeking a Senior Actuary (Predictive Modeling) to drive pricing and profitability while supporting growth. You will lead predictive analytics, set technical standards, and own pricing initiatives, with time split across pricing, conversion, and retention modeling.

Engage senior leadership with data-driven recommendations in a fast-paced environment. The role offers remote work within the United States and the opportunity to influence enterprise pricing and product strategy

Qualifications

• FCAS designation required (or career ACAS).
• 7+ years actuarial or data science in P&C/Health insurance.
• 4+ years in actuarial ratemaking or pricing modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL is required.
• Strong knowledge of R and/or Python is required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel is required.
• Advanced knowledge of GLMs is required.
• Desirable: elastic net GLMs, k-means clustering, geospatial statistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing and profitability initiatives.
• Own rate filings and responses to regulatory objections.
• Develop price elasticity and retention forecasting models.
• Monitor performance of rating plans (loss ratio, conversion, churn, LTV).
• Write SQL procedures for large veterinary bill databases.
• Collaborate with product, underwriting, marketing, BI, IT.
