Fetch Pet Insurance is seeking an Actuarial Data Scientist to enhance pricing strategies and profitability. This role will involve leveraging predictive analytics to refine pricing models and monitoring rating performance across multiple initiatives.

Ideal candidates should have ACAS designation with at least 5 years of experience in actuarial roles, along with strong SQL, R, and Python skills. The position is fully remote within the U.S., offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation required (or ASA working in health insurance).
• At least 5 years of experience in an actuarial or data science role.
• Strong knowledge of R and/or Python is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop price elasticity curves to forecast the impact of rating changes.
• Forecast policyholder retention and conversion based on changes.
• Build tools to monitor the performance of existing rating plans.

Skills

ACAS designation

Experience in actuarial or data science (P&C and/or Health insurance)

Advanced SQL knowledge

Knowledge of R and/or Python

Intermediate Excel knowledge
