Job summary

American National in League City, TX seeks an adaptable actuarial professional to support enterprise-wide initiatives, pricing, valuation, ALM, and regulatory reporting. The role offers broad exposure and long-term career flexibility across actuarial disciplines.

You will own deliverables, work across disciplines, and influence decisions through clear analysis and collaboration; ASA with progress toward FSA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
• ASA required or progress toward FSA preferred.
• Strong modeling, analytics, and financial analysis background.
• Experience across pricing, valuation, ALM, and reporting is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in actuarial modeling tools and data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial and financial analysis to support experience studies, earnings analysis, reserve movement attribution, and cash flow modeling.
• Support projects across pricing, valuation, ALM, VM-22/regulatory initiatives, and asset-liability management.
• Own deliverables and communicate findings clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
