Job summary

National Life Group is seeking an AVP & Actuary – Enterprise Asset Liability Management Strategy to lead analytical frameworks across assets, liabilities, product design, and investments. You will influence senior leaders and drive profitable growth through enterprise insights.

Based onsite four days a week, you will collaborate across actuarial, investments, product, finance, and risk management to shape strategic ALM decisions and long-term financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) is required.
• Experience in life insurance and asset-liability management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise ALM analyses to improve balance sheet management and profitability.
• Provide actuarial insight across liabilities, assets, product design, and investments.
• Partner with Investments to evaluate asset-liability interactions for decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Development to assess ALM implications of new products and pricing.
• Present analyses to executive leadership to inform strategy.
