Job summary

National Life Group seeks an experienced actuarial professional to design and oversee life Insurance and annuity product components within policy administration, illustration, and related systems. The role requires strong technical acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on accuracy and system readiness.

You will contribute to product setup, calculations, and inforce administration while guiding peers on initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience with life and/or annuity product mechanics and calculations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, validate, and support actuarial components for life insurance and annuity products across systems.
Lead cross-functional problem-solving and coordinate testing timelines with project partners.
Develop training resources and share knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
Evaluate opportunities to improve or automate processes while managing downstream impacts.
Communicate complex calculations and product behavior clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
Maintain SME level knowledge in at least one primary system and stay current across related tools.
