Job summary

You will oversee actuarial components within policy administration, illustration, and related systems, applying product knowledge and judgment in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 6-10 years in a systems, systems support, product implementation, or related role.
• Demonstrated understanding of life and/or annuity product mechanics and calculations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Office including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, validate and support actuarial components for life and annuity products across policy administration and illustration systems.
• Coordinate work across projects, manage testing timelines, and assist with roadmap planning.
• Oversee testing strategies, plans, tools, and documentation for product rates, calculations and system behavior.
• Develop training and guidance to staff; align assignments with development opportunities.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve or automate work, ensuring accuracy and maintainability.
• Build cross-functional partnerships and communicate complex calculations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Serve as SME in product setup and policy mechanics across primary and ancillary systems.
