Job summary

Phaxis is seeking an experienced actuary to join its Life & Annuity pricing team. You will influence pricing solutions and shape actuarial products addressing emerging risks, while collaborating with business partners to deliver results.

You will work on independent and cross-functional projects, support client implementations, and guide analyses to enhance existing pricing products. A Bachelor’s is required; ASA with 4 exams is strongly preferred, and SQL, Python or R skills are desired.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Life & Annuity actuarial experience.
• 4+ exams completed with ASA completion strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead initiatives, work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong computing skills such as SQL, Python, or R.

Responsibilities

• Develop enhancements and innovations to actuarial products and procedures.
• Work with clients on implementations and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with the team on new actuarial or underwriting focused products.

You will join a team responsible for shaping and innovating pricing solutions across the Life and Annuity sectors. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the development of actuarial products that address new and emerging insurance risks, influence market‑leading pricing strategies, and support customers in managing increasingly complex exposures. Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other team on new products that are actuarial or underwriting focused
• Maintain a high level of customer engagement through product presentations and responses to customer inquiries
• Guide and provide actuarial analyses in supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing actuarial products

Qualifications

• 3+ years of L&A actuarial experience required
• At least 4 exams passed with an ASA completion strongly preferred
