Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our actuarial practice in the United States. You will work directly with clients on life and annuity assignments, helping to develop strategies, build models, and deliver insights that drive growth and risk management.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of life/annuity actuarial experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, progress toward or completion of SOA credentials, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field.
• Approximately 3+ years of life/annuity actuarial experience (consulting, carrier, or reinsurer).
• Progress toward ASA or advanced ASA candidacy is expected.
• Familiarity with U.S. Life, Health and Annuity products and regulatory developments.
• Experience with at least one major actuarial modeling software platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial analysis for client engagements and project teams.
• Lead model development, optimization and transformation initiatives.
• Support mergers, acquisitions and capital optimization efforts.
• Contribute to financial and regulatory reporting processes.
• Assist with client strategy, risk assessment and advisory services.
