Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in actuarial advisory to work directly with clients across the financial services sector in a hybrid model. You will contribute to product strategy, model development, and regulatory reporting while building your leadership footprint in the field.

You should bring 3+ years of life/annuity actuarial experience, progress toward SOA credentials, and strong communication and project management skills to deliver value across engagements. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field.
• Approximately 3+ years of life/annuity actuarial experience (consulting, carrier, or reinsurer).
• Progress toward Society of Actuaries credentials (ASA or advanced ASA candidacy).
• Experience with U.S. Life, Health & Annuity products and features.
• Familiarity with U.S. statutory, GAAP and tax reporting frameworks and evolving regulation.
• Knowledge of at least one core life actuarial discipline (transformation, pricing, capital, etc.).
• Experience with actuarial modeling software (GGY AXIS, Prophet, Alfa/Integrate, PathWise, etc.).
• Strong writing, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time across multiple projects; capable of working independently or in teams.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs.
