Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a field related to actuarial science or data analysis.
• 2+ years actuarial or related experience in underwriting, brokerage, or P&C insurance with at least one actuarial exam completed.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with brokers to advise on reinsurance programs based on risk tolerance and industry trends.
• Performs calculations using specialty models and client data to assess risk exposures and project outcomes.
• Reviews client data for reasonableness, loads data into predictive models, runs analyses, and shares results with brokers to support transactions.
• Directs junior team members in analyzing industry and regulatory developments affecting loss liabilities and client outcomes.
• Independently builds more complex MetaRisk analyses and explains assumptions and results.
