Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Manager, Actuarial - Risk Adjustment. The role focuses on understanding ACA risk adjustment financial implications and supporting forecasting, monthly closes, and analyses.

You will report to the VP, Actuarial, with remote work available for eligible US candidates (excluding certain states). Responsibilities include developing risk scoring models, sourcing data, maintaining reporting, and guiding actuarial best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of quantitative analysis experience.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
• Preference for ACA Risk Adjustment or related expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support ACA risk adjustment analyses and monthly financial close.
• Forecasting and model development for risk adjustment.
• Maintain risk adjustment reporting and forecasting models.
• Collaborate with actuaries and data scientists on risk scores.
• Lead audit deliverables and ensure internal controls.
