Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Actuarial - Risk Adjustment to join our Actuarial team. This role focuses on understanding the financial implications of ACA risk adjustment, supporting monthly close, forecasting, and analytics.

This is a fully remote position for US residents, reporting to the VP, Actuarial. Ideal candidates will have an SOA designation and 6+ years of quantitative experience, with ACA risk adjustment expertise preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree or commensurate skills attainment.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
• 6+ years of quantitative analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oscar's ability to predict risk scores and ACA market morbidity with cross-functional teams.
• Source new data creatively for Oscar and market level predictions.
• Maintain and evolve risk adjustment reporting and forecast models.
• Conduct research to enhance Oscar's risk adjustment knowledge across Oscar and competitors.
• Lead quarterly audit deliverables and ensure internal controls for financial reporting.
• Promote actuarial automation and documentation best practices.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain relationships.
• Onboard analysts and integrate them into processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
