Oscar Health is hiring a Sr. Manager, Actuarial - Risk Adjustment to join our Actuarial team. The role will drive projections of risk scores and ACA market morbidity, partner with data scientists, and shape risk adjustment analyses.

You will report to the VP, Actuarial and work fully remote within the U.S. (excluding certain states). The position offers competitive base pay, benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate skills attainment.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
• 6+ years of quantitative analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oscar's ability to predict risk scores and ACA market morbidity with cross-functional actuaries and data scientists.
• Source data and innovate approaches for market-level risk adjustment predictions.
• Maintain and evolve risk adjustment reporting and forecast models.
• Conduct research to enhance risk adjustment knowledge across Oscar and other carriers.
• Lead quarterly audit deliverables and ensure internal controls for financial reporting.
• Promote actuarial best practices with regard to automation and documentation.
