Job summary

WTW seeks a Manager in the US to support account development and lead high-performing client delivery teams across life insurance engagements. You will work on financial modeling, reporting, M&A, regulatory issues, pricing and product development, applying expertise to life/annuity design, ALM, and risk management.

The role offers mentorship, leadership of junior staff, and opportunities for upward mobility within a flexible remote/US-based setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an actuarial role at a life insurance company, consulting firm, or financial services organization.
• Familiarity with regulatory capital regimes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey findings, recommendations, and work products to clients, peers, and junior team members.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across different disciplines and work styles, with a willingness to share knowledge.
• Experience in managing and directing project teams and meeting deadlines.
• Strong multitasking abilities, effectively managing multiple projects and clients while providing timely updates on project status and deliverables.
• FSA or equivalent credential (e.g., FIA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior sellers to identify new business opportunities and drive account proposals.
• Lead components of large-scale projects or manage smaller projects to achieve engagement and budget objectives.
• Strengthen industry relationships through delivering high-quality work, regulatory updates, and client interaction.
• Oversee and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality work conforming to standards.
• Share expertise and strategic insights to drive team growth and business development.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior staff for their professional development.
• Conduct thorough technical reviews ensuring high-quality work product.
