Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to provide technical data support and develop solutions for actuarial financial data systems. You will manage data marts, perform validations, and lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure data quality and regulatory readiness.

The role requires 5+ years in the field (or 7+ years without a degree) and strong SQL/data analytics skills. Hybrid work options and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required; 5+ years in related field
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years in related field
• Strong SQL development/analysis and healthcare data analytics experience would be highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Actuarial Systems Data Marts
• Perform monthly data refreshes, financial validations, and QA checks
• Analyze business problems, develop recommendations, and implement solutions
• Develop decision-support data builds, extracts, reports, data marts, and views
• Ensure auditable, snapshot-ready financial data for audits
• Lead multiple application areas regarding data definitions, file structures, and business rules
• Provide technical leadership and liaison with business teams during development and implementation
• Support departmental and corporate projects to meet business goals
