Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences with 5+ years of actuarial experience.
• FCAS/FSA or equivalent certification.
• ACAS/ASA or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads rate filing development of new products and product enhancements.
• Coordinates, prepares, and performs actuarial analysis.
• Analyzes loss and expense reserves.
• Provides consultation on actuarial models and risk issues.
• Supports A&H Market Facing and Technical Underwriters on pricing decisions.
• Coaches others to employ teamwork and collaboration.
• Fosters collaboration and cross-functional interaction.
• Influences business decisions through effective communication.
• Leads actuarial discussions with business partners around profitability.
• Aligns customer service needs to business priorities.
• Promotes customer/client-focused culture.
• May oversee the work of less experienced actuaries.
