Zurich North America seeks a Senior Actuarial Consultant to lead pricing and product development for Accident & Health lines, including supplemental health and group products. Based in one of several offices (New York, Schaumburg, Chicago, Overland Park), you will drive rate filings, analyze reserves, and advise on risk and modeling strategies.

You will mentor peers, coordinate with underwriters, and influence profitability discussions across partners while delivering customer-focused solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences with 5+ years actuarial experience.
• FCAS/FSA or equivalent certification OR ACAS/ASA or equivalent certification.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associates Degree OR 10+ years of actuarial experience may apply.

Responsabilités

• Lead rate filing development of new products and product enhancements.
• Coordinate, prepare, and perform actuarial analysis.
• Analyze loss and expense reserves.
• Provide consultation on actuarial models and risk issues.
• Support A&H pricing decisions with underwriters.
• Coach others to promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Influence business decisions through effective communication.
• Lead actuarial discussions with business partners around profitability.
