Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Actuarial Consultant to lead pricing and product development for Accident & Health. The role supports multiple US offices and collaborates with market facing and technical underwriters.

Ideal candidates have FCAS/ASA or equivalent, or ACAS, with 5+ years of actuarial experience, strong communication skills, and leadership abilities to guide teams and influence profitability.

Qualifications

• Must have a mathematics/statistics/actuarial sciences degree and 5+ years actuarial experience or 10+ years with related degrees.
• FCAS/FSA or equivalent international certification OR ACAS/ASA equivalent.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice or equivalent credential is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead rate filing development for new products and enhancements.
• Coordinate actuarial analyses and prepare pricing structures.
• Analyze loss and expense reserves and discuss with business partners.
• Mentor actuaries and foster cross functional collaboration.
• Provide clear communication to influence profitability decisions.
