Emergent Holdings, Inc. seeks an actuarial professional to support pricing, reserving, reinsurance analysis and forecasting.

The role covers management reporting, strategic analyses, and financial data calls, with a focus on Emerging Markets including AF Group and COBX. Key duties include collecting data for pricing and loss reserving, preparing rate indications and rate filing support, and presenting findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field.
• Successful completion of at least four (4) CAS examinations.
• Minimum of three (3) years actuarial experience, with at least two (2) in the P&C industry.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize data for pricing, loss reserving, product development and capital management; present findings to leadership.
• Lead rate review analyses and communicate results to underwriting leadership.
• Prepare rate pages and rate filing support for WC and other lines; respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Oversee rate filing processes and monitor schedules; ensure filings quality.
• Develop management reporting metrics and create new reports/tools for the department.
• Combine data from multiple sources to satisfy financial data calls and resolve bureau inquiries.
• Oversee premium and loss projection processes; communicate results to audiences.
• Perform quarterly reserve analyses and identify loss drivers.
• Maintain Large Account Pricing tools with IT/Data Analytics support; assist users.
