Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is seeking a seasoned Actuary to support pricing, reserving, reinsurance analysis, and forecasting within Emerging Markets. You will partner with leadership to develop financial insights, respond to data calls, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

The role requires a CAS credential, 3+ years of actuarial experience (P&C preferred), strong communication skills, and proficiency in SQL or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field.
• Successful completion of at least four CAS examinations.
• Minimum of 3 years actuarial experience (P&C preferred).

• Perform pricing, loss reserving, and capital management analyses.
• Prepare rate filings support and respond to department inquiries.
