Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics or related field.
• Progress towards FIA/ASA/FSA with several exams passed.
• Minimum 3 years of insurance experience in actuarial work.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in actuarial tools and programming languages listed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
• Perform data analysis using actuarial software and programming languages.
• Assist in regulatory filings and financial reports with accuracy.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product development, and finance for insights.
• Conduct experience studies on mortality, morbidity, lapse rates, etc.
• Evaluate financial impact of new product designs and strategies.
• Stay current with industry/regulatory changes and actuarial techniques.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to management.
• Contribute to actuarial best practices and controls.
• Participate in actuarial examinations and professional development.
