Job summary

Strive Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Actuarial Underwriting to support actuarial functions and collaborate with stakeholders in evaluating new business opportunities. You will execute analyses using actuarial methods and participate in an approved study program to advance your exams.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Actuarial, you’ll work with Finance, Partner Success and Growth teams to develop client-specific assumptions and deliver data-driven insights for strategic pricing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
2+ years experience in Actuarial services, Healthcare Economics, or related field.
Minimum three completed actuarial exams.
Internet connectivity with minimum speeds as specified, and onsite travel availability.

Responsibilities

Develop opportunity assessments for new clients or expansions.
Refine the opportunity assessment model using industry data and operating assumptions.
Support contracting by evaluating the financial impact of key terms.
Develop client-specific assumptions for new business within the budgeting process.
Present models and insights to internal and external partners.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
